Swim Safe Kenya Marks Another Milestone in Lifeguard Training

Nairobi, Kenya – 2nd September 2025Swim Safe Kenya (SSK) continues to strengthen its commitment to water safety and drowning prevention after graduating 8 new lifeguards in a pass-out ceremony attended by one of the organization’s directors, Mr. Victor King’ang’ai.

In his congratulatory speech, Mr. King’ang’ai praised the graduates for their resilience and dedication throughout the rigorous training program. He highlighted the sacrifice, determination, and perseverance that enabled the lifeguards to successfully complete the course — particularly noting their ability to train and swim during the challenging winter season.

“Becoming a lifeguard is not just about learning rescue techniques. It requires discipline, sacrifice, and the will to save lives. You have shown all these qualities, and today we celebrate you,” said Mr. King’ang’ai.
